Your account
PawsMenu uses Sign in with Apple. We do not receive your Apple password and do not request your name or email address from Apple. The service stores your Apple account identifier, an internal account identifier, encrypted authorization credentials and revocable login sessions. These are used to authenticate you and protect your saved records.
Your dog and calculations
The dog name and profile you choose to save are stored in your account. Profile details and selected ingredients are sent to PawsMenu to calculate results. Calculation results may be temporarily cached by the service to avoid repeating identical work. They are not public records or accessible without authentication.
Your web feeding diary
The optional web diary stores the dog, date, meal, amount eaten, notes and the food information used for each entry. Pet foods you add from labels are private to your account. Each diary entry keeps its recorded nutritional values so later edits to a pet food do not rewrite past meals. A menu awaiting your confirmation may be kept temporarily in that browser tab.
On your iPhone
The iPhone application keeps its login credential in Apple Keychain on that device. It does not bundle the nutrition database, request location, access contacts or photos, or use advertising SDKs. Sharing a menu opens the iPhone share sheet; you choose the recipient or destination. Signing out clears the app’s account-specific state.
Service measurements
The website counts selected events, including completed sign-ins, as aggregate counters. Those counters contain no account, dog, email or device identifiers. PawsMenu does not use advertising or visitor-tracking cookies. Essential website cookies maintain your login. Network and security information may also be processed by Apple and the hosting service when operating their services.
Storage and deletion
Saved dog and diary records remain until you delete them or your account. Deleting a dog also deletes its diary. Deleting a saved pet food leaves previously logged meals intact; deleting your account removes the diary and personal pet food records as well. Login sessions expire after 30 days and authorization challenges after 10 minutes. In the app, open Settings → Delete account. Recent Apple sign-in and an explicit confirmation are required. Successful account deletion revokes the stored Apple authorization and deletes the active account, dog records and sessions. It is not a promise that independently retained provider security logs or backups are immediately erased.
Your choices
You can inspect, update and remove saved dog profiles and delete your account. Calculations require a verified Apple session. The public website’s example and explanatory pages can be viewed without an account. Apple’s own services are covered by Apple’s privacy information.
